Independent Television Commission
| The Independent Television Commission licenses and regulates all television services broadcasting in or from the UK. (Except BBC licence fee funded services and S4C.) It sets and monitors standards for programme content, advertising, sponsorship and technical quality and applies a range of penalties if standards aren’t met. It ensures that viewers can receive television services on fair and competitive terms. It investigates complaints and publishes its findings. |
